How to Turn on Sound Mode on Samsung Galaxy A57 with One UI 8.5

Sound mode is the normal ringtone mode on the Galaxy A57. If the phone is on Mute, open Sounds and vibration and switch it back to Sound.

Steps

Open Settings from the app drawer

Swipe up from the Home screen to open the app drawer, then tap the Settings gear icon.

Open Sounds and vibration

In Settings, tap Sounds and vibration.

Select Sound

Tap Sound to switch out of Mute mode.

Good to know

  1. The phone starts in Mute mode. This is the reverse of turning Silent mode on, which switches Sound to Mute.
  2. Do not disturb is turned on in the recording, so it can still silence notifications while Sound mode is on.
  3. The notification sound is only shown on the page as Galaxy / Alpha. It is not opened or changed.
