Find the swipe-down switch

Scroll down the Home screen settings to ‘Swipe down for notification panel’. Its switch is on (blue).

Find the swipe-down switch

Confirm the setting is on

The switch stays on, so swiping down anywhere on the Home screen opens the notification panel.

Confirm the setting is on

Good to know

  1. In the recording the switch is already on, so the guide shows where the setting lives and how to confirm it; if yours is off, tap the same switch to turn it on.
  2. The setting’s own subtext reads: ‘Open the notification panel by swiping down anywhere on the Home screen.’
