How to Find the Default Launcher Setting on Samsung Galaxy A57 with One UI 8.5

Open Settings from the app drawer

Swipe up to open the app drawer and tap the Settings gear icon. The main Settings screen opens.

Tap Search in Settings

On the main Settings screen, tap the Search bar at the bottom. The search screen opens with the keyboard up.

Search for Default apps

Tap the search field and type Default apps. One result appears above the keyboard.

Tap the Choose default apps result

Under Results, tap Choose default apps, listed under Apps. The Apps screen opens.

Open Choose default apps

On the Apps screen, tap the Choose default apps card at the top. The Default apps list opens.

Tap Home app

In the Default apps list, find Home app, currently set to One UI Home, and tap it. The Default home app page opens.

Confirm the default launcher

On the Default home app page, One UI Home is the selected launcher, marked with the filled radio button. This is the default launcher setting.
