How to Turn on Dark Theme on Pixel 11 Pro with Android 17
Dark theme turns the Pixel 11 Pro’s menus and supported apps dark, which is easier on the eyes at night and can save battery on the OLED screen. It lives in Settings under Display & touch — open the app drawer, tap Settings, and switch it on.

Good to know
- The switch lives in Settings → Display & touch → Dark theme — the video never opens the quick settings panel, and there is no dark-theme tile shown.
- Standard is the selected option: it turns on dark theme for the phone and apps that support it. Expanded forces dark theme on most apps that don’t support it — the recording leaves it on Standard.
- Schedule is set to None here, so Dark theme stays on until you turn it off yourself; set a schedule on the same page if you only want it at night.
- If you only want dark mode at night, come back to this page and set a Schedule instead of leaving the switch on.
