How to Set a Ringtone for One Contact on Google Pixel 11 Pro

One contact can ring differently from everyone else. On the Pixel 11 Pro the per-contact ringtone lives inside the contact itself, under Contact settings: pick a sound from the Pixel Sounds collection and save it.

Good to know

  1. The contact started on Your New Adventure; picking a new sound does not change the phone’s default ringtone, only this contact’s.
  2. The Save button stays greyed out until you pick a different sound; tapping a sound previews it and activates Save.
  3. The confirmation reads Sound: The Next Adventure with Vibration: Default Vibration, so the contact keeps the default vibration pattern.
