How to View TikTok Profiles Privately Without Notifications

By default TikTok does not notify people when you view their profile — unless both you and the other person have Profile view history switched on. Turn that switch off and your profile visits stay private, at the cost of losing your own viewer list.

Good to know

  1. TikTok only notifies the other person if both of you have Profile view history turned on.
  2. Turning it off also means you can no longer see who viewed your own profile.
  3. Profile view history covers the past 30 days.
  4. The switch takes effect for profiles you visit after turning it off.
