Steps
Open your server menu and click App Directory
In Discord, click your server name at the top left, then click App Directory in the menu that opens.

Search for Green Bot and open it
In the App Directory search box, type green bot. Open the first result, Green-bot — its description says it plays high-quality music 24/7.

Click Add App
On the Green-bot page, click Add App at the top right.

Choose your server and continue
In the pop-up, open the Add to server dropdown and pick the server you want music in — Community here — then continue. You need Manage Server permission in that server.

Click Authorize, then complete the captcha
Discord lists the permissions Green-bot asks for, including Administrator. Click Authorize, then tick “I am human” on the captcha that follows. A Success dialog confirms Green-bot was added to your server.

Join a voice channel
Back in your server, click a voice channel such as General to join it. The bot is already there — Green-bot appears in the channel list, and its welcome message in #general lists the /play command.

Play a song with /play
In a text channel, type /play, enter the song name — Lovely by Billie Eilish here — and send it. Green-bot replies with a Now Playing card and starts playing the song in the voice channel.

Good to know
- The bot used here is Green-bot, added through Discord’s own App Directory — no website or invite link is needed.
- The track the bot plays for “Lovely by Billie Eilish” is a cover: the Now Playing card reads “Lovely (Originally Performed by Billie Eilish & Khalid)” by iSingKeys, not the original recording.
- Green-bot asks for Administrator permission. Only add bots you trust, and only to servers you manage.
- The captcha itself is shown unchecked on camera and the film then cuts to the Success dialog, so the tick is not demonstrated — the completed authorization is confirmed by that dialog and by the bot’s welcome message in #general.
- You must be in a voice channel before you use /play; the bot plays into the channel you joined.
